Preserving Quality and Longevity
We strongly advise against using bleach or fabric softeners. When drying, opt for tumble drying with low heat, as it is crucial in preventing shrinkage and maintaining print vibrancy. Flat-drying shirts can also help. Be cautious when ironing designed areas, opting for inside-out ironing to prevent damage. Avoid dry cleaning altogether.
Embroidered Apparel
Follow the washing and preservation instructions provided on labels for extended garment lifespan.
Machine wash garments inside-out on the cold water cycle.
Avoid chlorine bleach to prevent thread discolouration, and refrain from using other chemicals.
Steer clear of bleaches or fabric softeners.
For drying, opt for tumble dry on low heat to prevent shrinkage and print fading.
Consider flat-drying shirts to prevent further shrinkage.
When ironing, avoid ironing directly on designed areas. Instead, iron inside-out to prevent damage.
Do not dry clean garments.
Fabric Softeners
Fabric softeners, while effective in reducing static cling and enhancing fabric softness, should be avoided for certain types of apparel. Please refrain from using fabric softeners on 1. Screen-printed shirts can degrade the ink and cause fading. 2. Vinyl printed shirts, as it can weaken the adhesive, leading to peeling. 3. Apparel made of polyester, moisture-wicking, or fire-retardant materials, as it may leave a residue that compromises their functionality. Our apparel is preshrunk and pre-washed, eliminating the need for shrink-washing, which can fade prints and fabrics. Cotton/poly blends are less prone to shrinking, with more polyester content resulting in less shrinkage. Please don’t hesitate to ask us if you require clarification on whether your garment is preshrunk.
Do not dry clean your apparel as it would cause a pilling effect on your shirts. Pilling is significant behind apparel losing quality as it is caused by friction when your clothes are spin-washed in a stack and during dry cleaning.
